Sports professional
The sports specialist is a state-recognized training occupation in Germany, which is usually trained in a three-year dual training in the training company of a sports club. Training content
Sports specialists inform, advise and support members and customers about sports offers and health aspects of exercise and nutrition. You develop and work out concepts for mass sports and competitive sports and ensure the organizational flow of sports training and competitions. Her tasks also include training and advising athletes in a sport and instructing them in the rules specific to the sport. They plan, coordinate and organize cross-sport and sport-specific training and competition events, carry them out and create needs-based and situation-specific training and competition conditions. The supervision of an athlete during training and competition is just as much a part of their tasks as monitoring performance, from which they draw conclusions for further training. They arrange the care and maintenance of the sports equipment and facilities, but also the associated facilities. Sports professionals must also procure sports equipment, goods and services, process accounting business transactions, and carry out calculations. They create statistics, evaluate them and present them.
