Primary sports school
A sports elementary school is a primary school whose school life is characterized by a sporting profile. One of the first schools of this type was established in Leipzig in 2001. In 2007 the "Sportgrundschule Freiburg" was opened in Freiburg im Breisgau .
At the primary school location, sports clubs become cooperation partners who use the existing sports facility infrastructure.
