The Kazakhstan Sports Palace ( Russian Дворец спорта Казахстан ; Kazakh Қазақстан спорт сарайы ) is an ice hockey hall in the Kazakh capital Nur-Sultan . It opened on March 6, 2001 and consists of two separate arenas. The larger arena 1 can accommodate 5,332 spectators, while the smaller arena 2 can accommodate a maximum of 1,200 spectators.

Arena 1 was used by the local ice hockey team Barys Astana until 2015. Since then, the team has been competing in the 12,000-seat Barys Arena, which was inaugurated in August of that year . In addition, the men's tournament of the Asian Games 2011 was held in the Sports Palace .
