The Minsk Sports Palace is an ice hockey stadium in Minsk , Belarus . The stadium was the venue for the home games of HK Dinamo Minsk from the Continental Hockey League .

history

The Minsk Sports Palace, which opened in 1966 after three years of construction, is mainly used for ice hockey games. The ice hockey club HK Dinamo Minsk from the Continental Hockey League played its home games in the stadium from its establishment in 2004. In January 2010, Dinamo Minsk moved into the newly built Minsk Arena , which is more than four times as large with a capacity of 15,000 spectators.
