Speaker's booth

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A spokesman cabin is a device for recording of sound events , mostly singing or speech . Speaker booths are soundproofed, usually relatively small rooms for one or more speakers. Microphones are installed in them, which are connected to a sound control room and recording equipment outside the booth.

Speaker's booths are used in recording studios , on the radio and in film productions . For example, editors record the comment for a television report on the cut film in them. Speaker booths have the advantage that there is no need to keep a large soundproof recording room in order to record simple comment tones.
