Stéphane Bré

Stéphane Bré (born March 29, 1966 in Saint-Brieuc , France ) is a former French football referee.

From the 1994/95 season , Bré was regularly used in the French league . Between 1998 and 2004 he whistled a total of ten international matches, and from 1998 to 2005 he also directed matches in international cup competitions. In 2004 Bré was a referee at the French Cup final and was added to the list of FIFA referees that same year. In 2005, Bré published internal information and was subsequently suspended by FIFA and UEFA for four months. After that he did not lead any international games. In 2008 he was removed from the list. In France he was active as a referee until the end of the 2010/11 season , he has a total of 297 first division appearances. His main job is as a police officer.
