Stögersbach (communities Dechantskirchen, Friedberg)
Stögersbach is a place with 385 inhabitants in Styria , Austria . It is located in the Hartberg-Fürstenfeld district and is divided by the eponymous Stögersbach. The western half of the town with 233 inhabitants belongs to the municipality of Dechantskirchen and the eastern half of the town with 144 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) belongs to the municipality of Friedberg .
Stögersbach lies at approx. 540 m above sea level, on the south side of the Hilmberg, a foothill of the Hochkogel sloping towards the east, where the land already flattens into the Burgenland hill country, and is surrounded by fields, meadows and fruit trees.
