Stephen "Steve" Flesch (born May 23, 1967 in Cincinnati , Ohio ) is a left-handed American professional golfer of the PGA TOUR and since 2017 the PGA Tour Champions .

He attended the University of Kentucky and became a professional golfer in 1990 . Flesch first turned to the Asian Tour and placed there in the top 10 of the annual ranking in 1993, 1994 and 1996.

In 1997 he won the Nike Tour Championship and thus secured the right to start the PGA TOUR . Flesch won his first tournament victory in 2003 at the HP Classic of New Orleans and the following year another success followed at the traditional Bank of America Colonial Tournament , after a spectacular race to catch up. In 2007 he won two tournaments.

In Major Steve Flesch may yet four Top 10 results point ( US Open 2004 PGA Championship in 2005 and 2008, as well as the Masters in 2008 and 2009).
