The Stückle , also known as the bosses , was a liquid measure in the Principality of Neuchâtel . It was used primarily for wine and oil.

  • 1 Stückle / Bosses = 24 Branden / Brandes / Brande / Brende / Bücke = 480 Pots / Mass (481 Pots)
  • 1 bosses = 678 Neuchateler pots = 60 brochets / support = 30 septiers / buckets
  • 1 pot = 1.090429 liters
  • 1 Bosse = 914.06 liters = 46.08 Parisian cubic inches

The same applied to building lime

  • 1 Stückle / Bosse = 300 liters = 20 Boissaux (new size)
