history
Until the French Revolution, St-Brieuc was the parish church in what is now Plonivel in Plobannalec. The three-bay nave was built in a Romanesque construction period and the church was built in the 15th and 16th centuries. Century renewed late Gothic. As is customary for churches in the region, the bell roof ridge originally rose above the choir arch between the nave and the choir. It was relocated over the west gable in 1774 during major renovations. During the work, the apse was changed and raised. The southern vestibule bears the date 1758. After the renovation, the building now has the overall impression of a baroque structure.
