St-Jean-Baptiste is a Roman Catholic parish church in Saint-Jean-Trolimon ( Finistère department ).

history

The church, consecrated to St. John the Baptist , was built in 1886 according to plans by the architect Joseph Bigot. The west facade of a Gothic predecessor building from the 16th century with a tower from the 18th century was included in the new church.

The nave has seven bays, of which the seventh yoke in front of the choir with side chapels is designed like a transept. The choir itself protrudes only a little above the transept, so that the floor plan of the church resembles a dew cross , as is often the case in the region .
