history

The core of St-Nabor goes back to a medieval choir tower church , which is typical for the region. The choir tower in the east with the choir room in the tower basement still contains Gothic building fabric that was remodeled in the 19th century and is probably from the late Middle Ages. The adjoining nave was built in two phases. The three eastern yokes adjoining the tower were built in the first quarter of the 19th century. In 1861 it was finally extended by two yokes to the west. The triumphal arch that separates the choir from the nave is shifted to the left so that the choir tower is not in the axis of the nave. This apparently goes back to the medieval predecessor church.
