St.-Michael-Strasse 22

The house at St.-Michael-Straße 22 is a listed building in the Magdeburg district of Sudenburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is located on the north side of St.-Michael-Straße. To the west of the house is the also listed building at St.-Michael-Straße 23 .

Architecture and history

The simple single-storey house was built by master bricklayer Behrendt in 1866 for the arable citizen Jacob Glade . The plastered building on the eaves has six window axes and is covered with a gable roof. The entrance door is located on the street side, in the middle.

The building was built in the vicinity of significantly larger and more elaborately designed residential buildings and is therefore striking for the street scene together with the neighboring house at St.-Michael-Straße 23. It is considered an important testimony to the older settlement history of Sudenburg.

In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 094 82120 .
