St. Corpus Christi (Għasri)
The Christ the Savior Church is the Catholic parish church of Ghasri on the Maltese island of Gozo .
history
The church was designed by the Maltese priest Dun Guzepp Diacono. The foundation stone was laid on September 6, 1903. At first it was consecrated to the body of Christ , from January 9, 1916 to Jesus Christ as Savior and Redeemer . On December 16, 1921, Bishop Giovanni Maria Camilleri raised Għasri to his own parish.
