The Catholic parish church of St. Henry in Weilheim street in Munich's district Sendling-Westpark came 1934/35 to plans by Hans Döllgast . It was consecrated on July 14, 1935, the name day of the church patron Heinrich II , by Cardinal Faulhaber .

The church was badly damaged in World War II in 1943 and repaired by the same architect from 1949 to 1951.

St. Heinrich is a simple hall building with a gable roof. The sacristy is built on to the west and has the same cubature as the canopy on the main portal in the east. The material is brick, which is plastered white up to the eaves height, the gable surfaces show the brickwork. A small roof turret sits on the ridge above the portal.

Under the canopy over the main entrance is a small plaster work with the quote Prayer God the Glory from Psalm 67. A sundial and a large crucifix hang on the south facade. A figure of St. Heinrich is placed under a small canopy over the side entrance, as a donor figure of Bamberg Cathedral .

Today the church is together with the accompanying rectory under monument protection .
