The Catholic parish church of St. Johannes is a listed church building in Düdinghausen , a district of the city of Medebach in the Hochsauerlandkreis in North Rhine-Westphalia .

From the previous church, which was built in 1707 by the Cologne diocese , to which Düdinghausen still belonged at that time, there are some notes in a stock book from 1829. It was built next to the older Protestant church, which was demolished in 1810 when there were no more Protestants living in the village. This church was now too small and was demolished in 1900. There are also reports about some church devices, none of which are available today. The foundation for the new building was built from the stones of the previous church. The foundation stone was laid in 1900, it was completed in 1903. In 1960, a waterproof exterior plaster was applied to secure the building fabric. In the sixties of the twentieth century, the Gothic style vaults and wall paintings were painted over. The communion bench and the side altars were removed and modern candlesticks, a tabernacle and an ambo were added .
