St. John the Baptist is a Catholic parish church on the lower Grabenstrasse in Langenlonsheim .

The church is a 1907/08 neo-late Gothic hall, which was built according to a design by the architect Josef Kleesattel , Düsseldorf. In 2008 the parish celebrated the 100th anniversary of its church.

history

The foundation stone was laid on April 21, 1907, and the consecration service took place on November 17, 1907. The inauguration took place on May 4, 1908 by the Trier bishop Michael Felix Korum . The cost was 80,000 marks.
