Lesachtal Tscheltsch Church1.JPG

The Tscheltsch church stands at an altitude of 1310 m above the village of Klebas in the municipality of Lesachtal . The branch church consecrated to St. Joseph belongs to the parish of Liesing .

The sacred building was probably built in 1657, but the net ridges in the vault and the steep and high roof suggest that it was built in the first half of the 16th century. The small hall church with a 3/8 end has a wooden roof turret which , like the roof, is clad with sheet metal. The late baroque windows were added later. The church is entered through the arched west portal. Inside, the approaches of the mesh vault run into the wall.

The cartilage altar was created around 1670, the pictures have been renewed. The middle picture shows Saint Joseph with the blessing Child Jesus, the upper picture John the Baptist and the picture on the Antependium of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary .
