St. Katharina (Bad Colberg)
The listed Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Katharina is located in the Bad Colberg district of the city of Heldburg in the Hildburghausen district in Thuringia .
history
The Katharinenkapelle was mentioned in 1528 as the first bearer of the Saxon diamond coat of arms that is now in the church . Accordingly, the chapel had been at this location for a long time.
The chapel is 9 meters long and 7 meters wide. On the north-east and south-east side, a small round-arched window with corner edging is probably still preserved from the wayside chapel. In the course of the Reformation , a silver image of Saint Leonhard was removed.
