St. Laurentius, Lorenzenberg

The Catholic branch church St. Laurentius is located in the center of the village of Lorenzenberg in the municipality of Aßling in the district of Ebersberg . It was built around 1200 and was made of ashlar. The hall building has a retracted choir and a tower added to the north, the upper part of which was only added in the 19th century. There is a groin vault in the choir. The church is registered as a monument .

Furnishing

On the high altar is a panel of the crucifixion of Christ from the 17th century, which is flanked by statues of the saints Sylvester and Nicholas. A copy after Lukas Cranach and another statue of St. Lawrence hangs on the wall of the choir arch. Another figure of Laurentius from 1480 is on the north side of the hall.
