St. Marien in Röglitz

St. Marien is a listed Protestant church in the village of Röglitz in the community of Schkopau in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments it is listed as a monument under registration number 094 20848 . It belongs to the parish area Dieskau in the parish of Halle-Saale district of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The sacred building consecrated to Maria is in Kirchgasse in Röglitz. The church tower stands as a choir tower in the east of the nave . Due to the impending brown coal mining, the church was abandoned in 1980. Rebuilding began in 1992 and dragged on until 2006. Today the church is plastered in yellow.
