The parish of St. Martin, a subsidiary of St. Urbani in Munster, initially only had a parish center with a parish hall. The current church building is a former sheep pen from the mid-19th century, which was dismantled in 1987 in the neighboring Kohlenbissen , moved to its current location and converted into a church building. The typical appearance of a sheep pen common in the Lüneburg Heath was largely preserved. The inauguration took place on April 9, 1989. The construction consists of a post construction with a thatched half-hip roof . For the new purpose an organ was installed .

Peal

The bell carrier made of prefabricated reinforced concrete parts was built in 1983 by the Karlsruhe bell and art foundry for the community center. Two used bronze bells (d "+4 and f" +4) from 1953 were used.
