The Evangelical Church of St. Matthäi is located in the southeastern district of Jecha von Sondershausen in the Kyffhäuserkreis in Thuringia .

The small village church dates from the 13th century and is the oldest building in use in Sondershausen.

The church has a Romanesque tower choir . This was supplemented with a late Gothic nave . Prince Günther I donated the altar table in 1724. The parish of this church is united with the parish of Berka . Together they are the parish of the south-eastern urban area of ​​the district town of Sondershausen.
