St. Mauritius in Teicha

St. Mauritius is a listed Protestant church at the address Zum Kirchberg in the Teicha district of the Petersberg community in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments it is listed as a monument under registration number 094 55474 . It belongs to the parish area Teicha in the parish of Halle-Saalkreis of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The place of worship , consecrated to St. Mauritius , stands on a small hill in the village. The nave has different heights due to the slope.

The war memorial, a mausoleum and the mortuary as well as baroque tombstones and a bell are located on the church's cemetery grounds. The war memorial east of the church commemorates the fallen of the First World War without naming them. The porphyry stele is crowned with an iron cross .
