St. Michael (Schönhagen)
The Catholic village church of St. Michael is in the community of Schönhagen in the Eichsfeld district in Thuringia .

Above the entrance arch of the church, the year 1741 indicates the time it was built. The church construction was mainly financed by a Johann Stitz , it is reported.
Furnishing
In the two-storey side wings of the altar , the twelve apostles are depicted against a gilded background . The crucifixion is depicted in the central shrine.
