The chapel of St. Niklausen is located a little higher on the outskirts. It is a branch church of the Kerns parish and was first mentioned in 1357. The free-standing bell tower in Savoyard style with a pyramid roof is visible from afar and, like the choir, dates from the construction period around 1350. The choir is decorated with a medieval fresco cycle from 1370, the hip ceilings are decorated with rural Baroque paintings from 1704. The chapel was restored in 1995.
