The listed Protestant village church of St. Peter and Paul is located in the municipality of Döllstädt in the district of Gotha in Thuringia .

history

The church in Döllstädt goes back to a chapel from the time of the Cistercian monastery , namely at the Döllstädt monastery . This monastery and its chapel were first mentioned in a document in 1291. The successor St. Peter and Paul was donated in 1542 by Asmus Schade and Agnes Brun on the occasion of their marriage and later restored several times, most recently a few years ago.
