St. Peter and Paul (Owingen)

St. Peter and Paul is the Catholic parish church of Owingen in the Lake Constance district . The oldest surviving parts, the late Gothic tower and the choir, date from the 13th century. The interior was later redesigned in Baroque style, the stucco ceiling and wall pilasters as well as the high altar with Baroque figures date from this period .

There are four bells hanging in the roof structure, made of solid wood from 1587, three of which were melted down during the Second World War and later replaced.
