history

St David's was built in the late 16th century. The building was extended around 1680 and modernized around this time. Another modernization was made in the early 19th century. Among other things, most of the windows have been expanded. Presumably a wing and the attic were used as a pigeon house for a while. A restoration was made in the 1980s.

description

The building stands between Fitzroy Street and Rectory Lane in south Dysart. The tall, two-story building has an L-shaped floor plan. A raised stair tower with slotted windows in the gable rises from the north side. At the foot a profiled, low-lying segment arch portal leads into the interior. All gables, including the portholes , which partly break through a simple cornice , are designed with stepped gables . The gable end chimneys are plastered with Harl . There are mainly twelve-part lattice windows installed.
