The State University of Architecture and Construction Novosibirsk ( Russian Новосибирский государственный архитектурно-строительный университет (Сибстрин) ; s. : Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (NGASU) ) is a technical university in the Russian city of Novosibirsk .

The university was founded on May 18, 1930 with the departments of architecture , town planning , civil engineering and environmental engineering . Over 600 lecturers, including 83 professors, and around 400 research assistants teach at 54 chairs.

International university contacts are maintained, particularly in Germany, France, Great Britain, the USA, China, Vietnam, the Netherlands and Denmark. The university has set up the UNESCO chair Environmentally safe development of a large region - the Volga River basin .
