Copa Federação Gaúcha de Futebol

The Copa Federação Gaúcha de Futebol (Copa FGF) is the football association cup of the state of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil . It has been organized by the national association of the Federação Gaúcha de Futebol (FGF) since 2004.

The winner of the state cup qualifies alongside the top three finishers in the first division of the state championship for the national cup competition of Brazil, the Copa do Brasil . If a club has won both the championship and the cup in one season, the defeated cup finalist receives the starting place for the Copa do Brasil. In the years 2007 to 2010 the winner also qualified for the South Brazilian Super Cup.
