The Stade Aline Sitoe Diatta is a football stadium in the Senegalese city of Ziguinchor . The stadium is used by the local football club Casa Sports as the venue for home games in the Senegalese championship. It offers space for around 10,000 spectators.
The stadium was built in 1991 with a view to the 1992 African Cup of Nations , which took place in Senegal. A total of six preliminary round games were played here at the tournament.
The sports facility is named after Aline Sitoé Diatta (1920–1944), a Casaman activist against the French colonization of Senegal.
