The Stade Taïeb Mhiri ( Arabic ملعب الطيب المهيري) is a multi-purpose stadium in the Tunisian city of Sfax . It was opened in 1938 and today can seat 22,000 spectators.
The stadium is mainly used for soccer games. The club CS Sfax plays its home games here.
Two African football championships were played in the stadium. In 1965 there was a preliminary round match, in 2004 5 preliminary round matches and a quarter-finals took place here. In 1977 the stadium was the venue for preliminary group D of the Junior World Cup .
