The Stade du Fort Carré is a stadium in Antibes , France .
The stadium was inaugurated in 1912 and is located near Fort Carré . It is the home of FC Antibes and is mainly used for football matches. The stadium now has a capacity of 4,000; before the Second World War the capacity was around 15,000.
During the soccer World Cup in 1938 it was the venue for the quarter-finals between Sweden and Cuba , which ended 8-0 (4-0) in front of 6,846 spectators .
