The stadium November 1, 1954 ( French Stade du 1 er -Novembre-1954 , English November 1, 1954 Stadium ) is a multifunctional stadium in Tizi Ouzou , Algeria . It is mostly used for soccer games and is the home ground of JS Kabylie . The stadium offers space for 22,000 spectators, but is to be replaced by the new Stade Abdelkader Khalef with a capacity of 50,000.
It is named after the founding date of the National Liberation Front that fought for Algeria's independence from France .
After the death of the footballer Albert Ebossé Bodjongo , the Fédération Algérienne de Football closed the stadium from all football activities.
