The Russkiye Mountains ( Russian Горы Русские Gory Russkije , German 'Russian Mountains' ) is a widely scattered group of mountains and nunataks in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . They rise up between Hoelfjella and Sør Rondane .

Norwegian cartographers mapped it using aerial photographs taken between December 1958 and January 1959 during the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960). Russian scientists who worked at the Lazarev station from March 1959 also explored them and gave them their names. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names translated this into English in 1971.
