Albert Dominique Ebossé Bodjongo Dika (born October 6, 1989 in Douala , † August 23, 2014 in Tizi Ouzou , Algeria ) was a Cameroonian football player .
Life
Ebossé was born in 1989 in the metropolis of Douala and grew up in Kumba in the Sud-Ouest province .
Career
society
Ebossé started his career with Patrol FC of Mile 4 in Limbé . In the summer of 2007, he went to Njalla Quan Sports Academy. He played for half a year for NQSA, then he moved to the master Cotonsport Garoua . Ebossé played in Garoua for two years and became champions with the club in 2010 before joining Unisport Bafang . At Bafang he reached the cup final of the Cameroonian Cup in 2011, but lost 3-0 to his former club Cotonsport Garoua. Then Ebossé moved to the Douala Athlétic Club, where he scored nine goals in ten games. This accuracy earned him a contract with the Malaysian club Perak FA in April 2012 . He scored eleven goals in 16 games there and moved to Algeria in the summer of 2013 for JS Kabylie . In his first season he was the top scorer of the Ligue Professionnelle 1 with 17 goals .
National team
Ebossé played six internationals for Cameroon's B national team from 2009 to 2014 (players from teams from the local leagues) and in 2009 some games for the Cameroon U-20s.
death
On August 23, 2014, shortly after the game between JS Kabylie and USM Algiers , Ebossé was hit by an object thrown from the fan block of the November 1, 1954 stadium and seriously injured in the head. He collapsed unconscious on the square with traumatic brain injury and was taken to a hospital in Tizi Ouzou, where he succumbed to severe head injuries late in the evening.
