The Königsberg City Archives were the archives of Königsberg (Prussia) .

history

From 1724 it was housed in the old town hall. In 1875 it was moved to the Collegium Albertinum in Kneiphof .

The leaders were August Wittich (1875–1897), Ernst Seraphim (1911), Christian Krollmann (1924) and Fritz Gause (1938).

Since the city archives were not allowed to be outsourced by order of Gauleiter Erich Koch in 1944, all archive material fell victim to the British air raids on Königsberg and the capture of Königsberg by the Red Army in winter 1945.
