City district (Switzerland)

In some cities in Switzerland ( Zurich , Winterthur , St. Gallen , Lucerne ) the urban district is an administrative or statistical division of the city above the level of the districts . In Geneva , Lausanne and Bern , parts of the city ​​are spoken of. Cities like Basel , Biel and Lugano have no such intermediate level.

In Germany and Austria one speaks of a (city) district in some places .
