The Neustadt City Museum is a museum in the Upper Palatinate district town of Neustadt an der Waldnaab , which is also known as the “City of Lead Crystal ”. It is housed in the city's former schoolhouse, which dates back to the 17th century. This was extensively renovated over a period of four years and given its new purpose in 1989. With its exhibits, the museum would like to give an impression of life and work in Neustadt. Thus, exhibits around the lead crystal form one of the focal points of the exhibits .
