The city park Bytom (City Park Beuthen) is a 34 hectare public park in the district Dombrowa in the independent city Bytom (Bytom) in the province Silesia in the southern part of Poland . The park, opened in 1870, stretches along the Chaussee to Miechowitz over a length of 1200 meters and is an important example of the transformation of Upper Silesian gardening and landscaping from a Volksgarten to a Volkspark. The complex is criss-crossed by water veins and decorated with ponds.

Schrotholzkirche

The scrap wood church was built in Mikulschütz in 1530. She was dedicated to St. Laurentius consecrated. When the church became too small for the community of Mikulschütz, a massive church was built in 1892. The old scrap wood church was sold to the city of Beuthen. In 1901 it was set up in the Beuthener Stadtpark and housed an exhibition with old pictures and figures from all of the city's churches. On November 14, 1982 the church burned down. In 1986, this gem was completely destroyed by arson.
