history

Stadtwerke Duisburg AG and around 30 other companies have been part of the DVV Duisburger Versorgungs- und Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH , which holds 80% of the shares, since 1971 . Innogy SE owns 20 percent .

In 2019, the company supplied 32.4 million m³ of water, around 2 billion kilowatt hours of gas and around 998 million kilowatt hours of electricity, as well as 836.1 million kilowatt hours of district heating.

Locations

Stadtwerke Duisburg AG maintains a gas-fired power plant in Duisburg Wanheim that generates 279 megawatts of electrical and 255 megawatts of thermal power. It also operates two water pumping stations in the city of Düsseldorf, on the one hand in Bockum with a flow rate of 7,658,680 m³ / year and on the other hand in Wittlaer with a flow rate of 8,677,935 m³ / year, as well as several substations and transformer stations throughout the city.
