The Stahl GmbH & Co. KG was a German manufacturer of folding machines and other machines for print finishing . The company was founded in 1949 as Stahl & Co. Maschinenfabrik Ludwigsburg by Kurt Stahl and Adolf Döpfert. In 1960 the company moved into a new plant in Neckarweihingen , where eight years later the 10,000. Machine could be completed. The world market leadership in the market for folding machines was achieved in particular through the strong growth in the post-war period.
