Stamp Buttress is a towering and rocky headland on the south coast of King George Island in the Archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It forms the seaward end of Dunikowski Ridge on the banks of Wesele Cove .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1998 after the British geographer Laurence Dudley Stamp (1898-1966), who had lectured from 1923 to 1926 at the University of Rangoon and from 1926 to 1945 at the London School of Economics .
