The Wesele Cove ( Polish Zatoka Wesele ) is a bay on the south coast of King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It lies between Boy Point and Low Head .
Participants in a Polish Antarctic expedition named them in 1980 after the play Wesele (Polish for wedding ) by the Polish dramaturge Stanisław Wyspiański (1869–1907). The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee transferred the Polish name in 1984 in a partial translation into English.
