Stand High Patrol is a group of musicians from Brittany in France who see themselves as a sound system . Musically she was inspired by various influences, including the traditional sound system from Jamaica, artists of the reggae and dub genres , and hip-hop . The group consists of Pupajim (MC / vocals), Mac Gyver (operator), Rootystep (selector) and Merry (trumpet). Since it was founded in 2000, Stand High Patrol has released four albums, as well as collaborations with other artists. The fifth album Our Own Way will be released on July 24th, 2020 .

Stand high records

In 2009 the group founded their own music label, Stand High Records. In 2012 her debut album Midnight Walkers followed after several published singles and EPs. In 2015, A Matter of Scale was followed by the second album that they recorded with trumpeter Merry. At the beginning of 2017, the dubstep artist Stepart released his debut album Playground on Stand High Records . On May 26, 2017, Stand High Patrol's third album was released: The Shift . A special project was the fourth album Summer On Mars , which was recorded entirely with the artist Marina P. and thus differs significantly from previous releases in terms of style. It was released on November 9, 2018.
