Standard Bank in Windhoek

The Standard Bank Namibia is part of the South African banking group Standard Bank . For legal reasons, Standard Bank Namibia has been largely detached from the South African parent company .

The bank was created in Namibia when the first commercial bank branch opened in Lüderitz on August 19, 1915 . Standard Bank Namibia is now one of the largest in the country and operates from more than 50 branches. With a good 25 billion Namibian dollars, it manages a third of the bank assets in Namibia.

The bank offers financial services for private and corporate customers.
