Standing cylinder

A standing cylinder is a vertical, hollow cylinder with a stand. Standing cylinders are mostly used in chemistry to store liquids.

In laboratories, glass cylinders are usually used because of their chemical stability . Alternatively, standing cylinders made of plastic or metal are used. Standing cylinders have the same shape as measuring cylinders , but no scale.
