Stanisław of Budzowo

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Stanisław von Budzowo was Roman Catholic Bishop of Kiev in 1430.

He was only in a bull by Pope Martin V called. His father's name was Nikolaus, he came from Budzowo (possibly today Budzewo in the Powiat Sieradz) and was a Polish cleric, possibly a Dominican monk like other Kiev bishops of that time.

In 1431 a papal bull named Stanisław , son of Martin, as the bishop of Kiev. It is unclear whether it is the same person. Further information has not been preserved, nor is it mentioned in later lists of bishops.
