Stanislav Telisforowytsch Staschewskyj ( Ukrainian Станіслав Телісфорович Сташевський ; born March 10, 1943 in Marjaniwka , Kiev Oblast , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian politician. Between September 2005 and August 2006 he was Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine.

Life

Stanislaw Staschewskyj studied electrical engineering from 1966 to 1972 at the Kiev Polytechnic Institute . In 1999 he became a candidate for technical sciences at the Kiev National University of Construction and Architecture .

Between October 1996 and January 2001, Stashevskyi was the first deputy chairman of the Kiev city ​​council, Oleksandr Omelchenko, and, within the city council, chairman of the Kiev City Investment Commission. He led the work on a new master plan for the urban development of Kiev. From June 1998 he was also a member of the Kiev City Council.

Stanislav Staschewskyj was a member of the Verkhovna Rada , the Ukrainian parliament , between May 14, 2002 and October 20, 2005 and between May 25, 2006 and June 8, 2007 . From June 5, 2001 to November 19, 2001 he was Minister for Fuels and Energy of Ukraine in the Kinach cabinet and from September 27, 2005 to August 4, 2006 as a member of the party alliance “Our Ukraine”, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine in the cabinet Jechanurov . Between March 2008 and January 2010 he was an advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko .

Stanislaw Staschewskyj is married and has a daughter born in 1966.
